- The basic function of VMD
- Loading and displaying molecules
- changing display parameters
- drawing styles and multiple representations
- selecting subsets of the molecule
- the Sequence Viewer extension
- saving and reloading your work
- Download the 1UBQ.pdb file from the PDB
- Start VMD on your computer
- Access the Urbana-Champaign VMD tutorial, part 1 and go through the steps described there.
